Been a while eh? But we all need a little reminder we can do it. So I dusted off my hashtag alter-ego.

Who you gonna call? This one is just because. It’s #feelalive Friday for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and this week my guest blog went up on their website. To think my dafty tale could offer others a boost is humbling and life affirming all in one.

If you’d like to read more on how I got diagnosed and treated it’s here http://t.co/PhmrCEs2kx

And life fundraising after the all clear is here http://bit.ly/17IDZcg

Not a dressing up photo today but a celebration of the end of the Team Meaker 100 miler. Cycling up Ditchling Beacon after 47 miles was heavy going but we’re good with effort these days.

Thank you to everyone who dug deep and sponsored. You still can if you fancy.

A goth was the request. This photo I hope will help researchers find a cure.

I think I shall find residual goth on my eyelids for a few days to come…

It’s just one week to go before my final stage of the Team Meaker 100 mile cycle challenge and I am very close to raising £2,000 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. You can help with a trip to www.justgiving.com/team-Meaker-research

I went all Harry Enfield as requested by my mate from Liverpool. I actually think my post-chemo hair is growing back a bit like this. I’ll keep it short for now.

The fundraising has been going pretty well - I have a charity quiz on Sunday and then my last big cycle ride is June 16.

I hope I’ll hit £3,000 - that’d feel pretty amazing.

The eyes give me away. I pity the fool who doubted I could bring Mr T to the table.

I’m off to hospital tomorrow for my six months since the all clear with the clinical haematology team.

I won’t dress like that.

Keith Harris-ment for sponsorship money today with Orville the duck. I promise you it’s me, those are definitely my shoes.

Yesterday I cycled a 40 mile charity bike ride. A year ago, I was having a biopsy that told me I had cancer.

Funny what a year can do.

Sex bomb, sex bomb, ticking like a broken clock eh? A top pal from Wales asked me to bring Tom Jones to the table in my bid to raise sponsorship. No ferrets were harmed in the creation of the chest hair.

This time last year I was days away from confirmation I had lymphoma.

Now I’m dressing up as 70s pop stars and preparing to tackle a 40 mile bike ride Sunday.

Beautiful thing this life. If you agree why not text MEAK99 £2 to 70070 and give someone else a chance x

Supreme eh? Another day, another dress up. I then spent ten minutes removing lip gloss and eyeliner before getting 54km in on a training ride!

The big cycle challenge starts next Sunday and I’d love to think I can raise a few more pounds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. www.justgiving.com/team-Meaker-research will do it.

Ahahahahahaaaaaa me hearties. Just had a request for Jack Sparrow but we had him on file from the early autumn of 2012, just as chemo was coming to an end. The eye make up stayed with me for a couple of days I seem to recall.

I still have the parrot somewhere if anyone fancies a low maintenance pet.

So I had a little tussle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma last summer. I'm now raising money for research and support for those who never get to hear their scans are good. One way I am doing this is through the medium of #TheLadyofManyFaces - a versatile fool who dresses up to order. I guess I caught the bug when I lost my hair. It's not everyone who has their chemo nurses running a sweepstake on how they'll dress for their next cycle. This is an archive of my @shivmeaker shenanigans. If you feel moved to support, I would love you to visit www.justgiving.com/team-meaker-research or www.justgiving.com/team-meaker-macmillan - Thank you.
